Cash for refrigerators coming this fall – Do you have old appliances like refrigerator, washing machine or dishwasher? If yes then maybe it’s about time to replace that old refrigerator or any household appliance and get $50 to $200 rebate.
If you’ve already heard about “cash for clunkers” deal then I am sure you will easily get the purpose of this new program which is called “cash for appliances” or “cash for refrigerators” that the federal government planned to push late this fall.

According to ABC news, there’s no trade-in required as in the government’s “cash for clunkers” deal with consumer car trade-ins. The rebate checks from $50 to $200 will be issued that can be used to encourage more consumers to replace their old appliances and buy a new home appliance that is more energy-efficient.
Do you know that the US government set aside $300 million for this program as part of the economic stimulus plan? I think this is the government’s way of fighting the recession and help the economy to survive by boosting sales of the appliance industry.
