I started blogging on 1997 during my college years and the main reason is to have a my own space on the internet where I can freely express my thoughts, opinions and share everything that I found interesting. I really enjoyed writing on almost any kind of topic but what I really like to share are my personal experiences in life. Before, I used to write almost everything in my blog but lately, I’ve learned that some things should still be kept confidential so instead I’ve created a private blog where nobody knows about me. Before, I started to write my journal at diary-x but I believe that website no longer exist. I regretted that I haven’t save a backup copy of all my entries since 1997.

I stopped blogging during my senior years in college for I don’t have much time because of my schedule. Then after college I’ve decided to blog again at Friendster. Friendster’s free blog features are only limited and you have to pay and upgrade your account if you wish to have additional blog features and more web hosting space. It was only 2 years ago that I’ve decided to pay for a web hosting service and setup my own blog with domain name of my choice. Having a paid webhosting gives me more features that I haven’t found in any of free blog services.

During the first month of having my own webhosting and domain name, I should admit that I don’t have any idea about site maintenance so I’ve made some research until I found this WebHostingGeeks site that provides me all the important information that I need in getting started with my own blog from changing and customizing my own templates, setup my own email account, create subdomains, site hosting and more. For those who are new to the blogging world, be sure to make a research first and read everything that you need to know in setting up your own website. I would like to recommend WebHostingGeeks as the best resource when choosing which webhosting company is the best that offers more features at a reasonable price. Also, try to read WebHostingGeeks blog for hosting news, seo, latest trends and discussions.
