Have you seen the new Wordpress.com?
My friend, who is also a blogger and blogs at one of the most popular blogging platform Wordpress.com told me to try if Wordpress site is really down because it wasn’t loading in his browser. It’s been months since I last visited that site. 
I tried to visit Wordpress.com and noticed a lot of improvements. The Wordpress’ old and boring homepage redesigned its template and now it has images on it. Before, the only image that you can see there were just the small gravatars of Wordpress users who recently updated their blogs.
I also tried to browse several blogs to check if it’s really up and running and I also noticed that Automattic’s Wordpress.com has launched its own built-in short-link generator. When you’re creating a post on the Wordpress.com service, you get an option to create a wp.me link alongside the post’s default link.
I don’t know the reason why Wordpress is not loading on my friend’s browser. I suggested to clear his browser’s cache first and if it still doesn’t work then maybe the problem is in his ISP.
